Leadership Coaching for Real Situations | Salah Abdeldayem

A new leadership role, decisions under pressure, difficult conversations with your team: confidential leadership coaching that starts from your real situations.

Coaching · Leadership & responsibility

Leadership is tested where decisions get difficult.

Leadership coaching is a confidential space to analyse specific situations, reflect on how you tend to act and develop new options for the way you lead.

Perhaps you are thinking

I'm new to leading people, and I can see that expertise alone isn't enough.

I have to decide even though important information is missing.

A conversation with a team member can no longer be put off.

My boss and my team expect different things from me.

Leadership is more than tasks, meetings and decisions. It gets especially demanding when interests collide, information is missing, time is short or a difficult conversation can no longer be avoided. Perhaps you have just taken on a leadership role. Perhaps you have carried responsibility for some time and notice that certain situations are getting harder. Or you want to develop your impact as a leader more deliberately.

Where coaching can help

The focus is on real leadership situations, not on general management theory.

Decisions under pressure

As a leader you often have to decide without all the information. Coaching helps you separate facts, assumptions, risks and your own reactions, so that you can decide more deliberately.

Difficult conversations

Feedback, conflict, performance problems, boundaries or differing expectations cannot always be avoided. In coaching we prepare and structure these conversations.

Presence and trust

People do not judge leadership on content alone. Clarity, reliability, communication and your presence also shape how they experience you as a leader.

Taking on responsibility

A bigger role brings new demands. Coaching helps you clarify your role, set priorities and handle conflicting expectations professionally.

What the coaching is about

Not a theoretical leadership model to be applied to every situation, but the situations you are actually dealing with:

  • What is happening right now?
  • What makes the situation difficult?
  • Which options do you have?
  • What are their consequences?
  • How do you want to act?

The result is not a universal recipe, but a decision you can stand behind and a clear plan for the next conversation.

How the coaching works

Intro call

First we clarify what it is about for you and what you want to achieve. Free, 20 minutes, no obligation.

Focus

We decide which question or challenge actually matters most right now.

Working on your situation

We look not only at the problem, but also at ways of thinking, decisions, options for action and the conditions under which change is meant to happen.

Next steps

Insight should not end with a good conversation. Where it makes sense, it turns into concrete next steps.

What you bring: one or more specific situations from your day-to-day leadership. What is discussed in coaching remains confidential in principle, even if your company pays for it.

Who is it for?

The coaching is for

new leaders

experienced leaders

team leads

professionals about to take the next step up

entrepreneurs and the self-employed

leaders guiding their teams through change

Not the right setting

Team development for the whole group: a workshop is better suited for that than one-to-one coaching.

HR and legal decisions: formal warnings, dismissals and employment law questions need HR and legal advice. In coaching you prepare for the conversation and your role in it.

Ready-made answers: coaching does not make leadership decisions for you. It helps you make them with more clarity.

Why work with me?

Executive and leadership coaching has been part of my work for many years, across Europe and the Gulf. I have further training in leadership and business coaching, communication psychology and systemic counselling, and I run workshops for organizations, including on leading under pressure and on difficult conversations.

In coaching I am less interested in which model fits your situation than in what is actually happening and what you can change.

Not a standard program

The five coaching areas are there for orientation, and many situations overlap. A career change can raise questions about personal development, decisions and how you come across, all at once. A new leadership role combines communication, decision making and personal confidence. And starting a business is often both, a professional and a personal change. That is why coaching does not start from the category, but from your actual situation.

Personal development & decisions

Workshops for teams

When it is not just you, but your whole team that needs to work on leadership, decisions or difficult conversations.

You do not need to know yet which coaching you need.

If you know that you want to clarify, change or decide something, that is enough for a first conversation.

Frequently asked questions

Is the coaching confidential if my company pays for it?

Yes. What is discussed in coaching remains confidential in principle. If your company pays, we agree at the start which information, for example the framework and goals, is shared with whom. I don't pass on anything from the sessions without your consent.

I have only just become a leader. Is it too early?

No. The first months in a new role shape how you lead and how you are perceived. Many questions are easier to clarify at the beginning than later.

Do you work with leadership models?

Where a model helps to understand a situation better, we use it. But the starting point is always your specific situation, not the theory.

Can my company book the coaching?

Yes. Companies can book one-to-one coaching for leaders. For whole teams there are workshops, for example on leading under pressure or difficult conversations. Get in touch via the contact page to discuss it.

How often do sessions take place?

That depends on your concern. Some leaders come with an acute situation for a few sessions, others work on their role over several months. We clarify the scope in the intro call.

Is a specific leadership situation on your mind?

Bring it with you. In coaching we work on understanding it and widening your options.
