Finding inner peace: where to begin
Restless even in quiet moments and longing for calm? How it shows up, questions to reflect on and where coaching can help.
Even in quiet moments you feel restless inside. You long for calm and don't know where to begin.
How it can show up
- Even in quiet moments you are tense inside.
- Your mind jumps from one worry to the next.
- Relaxing feels unfamiliar or even uncomfortable.
- You long for calm but don't know where to begin.
Questions for you
There are no right answers. Take the question that stays with you.
- When did you last feel truly calm, and where were you?
- Which open question or conflict is robbing you of peace most right now?
- What does you good: exercise, silence, prayer, nature or conversations?
- Which small habit could you build into every day?
Where coaching can help
Coaching can help you clear up things that occupy you inside, such as open decisions or conflicts, and make your everyday life calmer.
When other help fits better
If the restlessness is always there or comes with anxiety, sleep problems or low mood, talk to a doctor or a licensed psychotherapist. Spiritual practice and community can also offer support.
If it is too much right now
Coaching is not psychotherapy and not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact the emergency services where you are right away, or a crisis service near you.
Want to talk it through?
In a free 20-minute intro call we look at whether coaching is the right way to work on this for you. If it is not, I will tell you so.
