Information overload: choosing again and taking action
Lots of input, little clarity: signs, questions to reflect on, and how coaching helps you pick what matters and decide.
Podcasts, articles, courses, advice: you take in new things all the time, but little clarity comes from it and even less action.
How it can show up
- You have started lots of courses and finished few.
- Before decisions you read one more article, and then another.
- You have bookmarks and notes you never look at again.
- After a day full of input you feel tired, but not wiser.
Questions for you
There are no right answers. Take the question that stays with you.
- Which question is really on your mind right now, and which information do you need just for that?
- Which source could you drop for a month without missing anything?
- What have you known for a long time but not yet put into practice?
- What would be a small test instead of more research?
Where coaching can help
Coaching helps you start choosing again: what is really relevant to your current question, what can wait, and which decision can you make with what you already know?
When other help fits better
If concentration problems have been there for a very long time or affect every area of life, have them checked by a doctor.
If it is too much right now
Coaching is not psychotherapy and not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact the emergency services where you are right away, or a crisis service near you.
Want to talk it through?
In a free 20-minute intro call we look at whether coaching is the right way to work on this for you. If it is not, I will tell you so.
