Communication Coaching for Migrants: Speak with Confidence
Not a language course: coaching for confident speaking, difficult conversations, saying no and presenting yourself at work. In German, English or Arabic.
Communication coaching
Speak with confidence when it matters
Even if German isn't your first language. This is not a German course: it is about how you come across in the moments that matter: in a job interview, in your team, at a public office or in your family.

Does this sound familiar?
I understand everything, but when it matters, the words don't come.
In meetings I'd rather say nothing than make a mistake.
I say yes too often when I mean no.
People tell me I'm too direct, or too reserved.
I don't know how to raise a conflict without it escalating.
When I have to introduce myself, I make myself small.
Learning a language and communicating with confidence are two different things. Some people with excellent German lose their footing in important conversations, while some with basic German come across clearly and convincingly. The difference lies in attitude, preparation and tools that can be learned. That is what we work on. If you want to work on the language itself, a language course is the right place, for example an integration course or a job-related German course. The two complement each other well.
What we work on
Speaking with confidence
How to speak even when not every word is perfect, and how to stay relaxed about your accent and your mistakes.
Giving your opinion
How to bring your point of view into conversations and meetings, clearly and respectfully.
Difficult conversations and conflict
We prepare a real conversation and rehearse it: with your manager, a colleague, your child's teacher or someone in your family.
Saying no and setting boundaries
How to say no without feeling guilty and without damaging the relationship.

Presenting yourself
How to explain in one minute who you are and what you can do, in an interview or when networking.
Presence and body language
What you say without words, and how differently eye contact, gestures and personal space are read in different cultures.
German working life
The unwritten rules: how direct you can be, how to give criticism, how meetings and emails work, and how to handle misunderstandings.
To prepare one important conversation, a single session (60 minutes, €69) is often enough. If you want to strengthen your communication more broadly, support over three or five sessions fits better. All prices are on the overview page. All prices are final prices. As a small business under § 19 (1) of the German VAT Act (UStG), I do not charge VAT.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a German course?
No. I don't teach grammar or vocabulary. We work on how you speak and come across in important situations, with the language you already have.
My German isn't very good yet. Can I still come?
Yes. Coaching can take place in English or Arabic, or a mix. If you want to practise a conversation in German, we do that in German.
Can we prepare a specific conversation?
Yes, that is often the best way in: a job interview, a talk with your manager, a conflict in your team or your family. We prepare it and rehearse it.
I have an appointment at a public office. Can you come with me?
No, I don't accompany you to authorities or represent you there. But we can prepare the conversation beforehand, so you know what you want to say and ask.
